Canter-profiling Complexes GIGA produce the longitudinal in "one pass" processing of round logs with small and middle size diameters into trimming beans and/or boards + technological chips and nothing more (without of any solid wood pieces waste). The producing technological chips are done strictly adequate to the DINs (standards) for next steps of its processing into, for example, paper and carton, panel production, chemistry, pellets and so on.
Sawmilling Canter-profiling Complexes GIGA operated by one operator. Final sawmill production has the exellent geometry and highest quality. Complexes GIGA are produced in two main variants of composition: in container design and in module design.
In case of Container design - the containers in the same time are the basement (foundations) and roof and building for inside installed machines, conveyors and all complex systems. With such container design Complexes GIGA may be installed, as it says: "under open sky".
In case of Module design - only the machines and operating systems are in containers. The demanded conveyors are connected these modules. So, with module design it is really reasonable to install Complex inside the building (or minimum - under roof).
Due to its special construction and design Complexes GIGA have the best in the world characters of economic efficiency for 1m3 of output production:
- it is minimal costs for processing of 1m3 round logs into trimming materials;
- it has the minimal electric consumption for 1m3 processing;
- minimal using of labor power for 1m3 processing (it is only one operator) and etc.
A.Costa Righi produced the spread range of GIGA Complexes with different constructions and composition, with different facilities and possibilities and for different logs to be proceed.
Basic Models - GIGA Complexes, in economic configuration (as in Container, as in Modul variants) are equipped with follow machines and systems, adequate to the model types:
- two Chips-Canters CANTATA;
- one (or two) profilers FUGA;
- one two-(or four-) shafts multi ripsaw machine SONATA;
- logs feeding system;
- measuring systems and systems for positioning of Complex machines;
- the device for log turning;
- all demanded conveyors to unite the all machines and devices into one Complex.
More complicated GIGA Models are equipped with additional machines and systems.
Canter-profiling Complexes GIGA are producing in three main types in depend of the maximum possible diameters of logs to be processed:
- GIGA01 - proceeds logs with diameters 8-18(20 in the butt) cm;
- GIGA02 - proceeds logs with diameters 10-25(30 in the butt) cm;
- GIGA03 - proceeds logs with diameters 14-40(45 in the butt) cm.
Also Special GIGA models are produced to proceed more spread ranges of diameters.
Basic models of Complexes GIGA can proceed the logs with standard length in 2,0(2,5) - 6,0 m.
For special needs exist Models can proceed as more long, as more short logs.
